He is a media personaliity and he used to work for the Nation Media Group, in their television network station called NTV. He used to anchor news and he would also host a show called The Trend which comes to you every friday night on NTV and that is wildly popular in Kellywood. James Smart was the first person to host the show, before Larry took over. It was during Larry's time that the show really picked momentum. Once in a while Victoria Rubadiri would join Larry as presenter before Ciku Muiruri became a regular on the show. Larry left the show after other stations started copying The Trend, because the producers thought that a change of presenters will enable the show maintain its lead. Ciku Muiruri also folllowed Larry soon after and Amina Abdi Rabar took over the reigns as the main presenter of the show. Larry worked on other projects on the station up until the election time of 2017 when things at the station got heated up due to political differences between some journalists and management. Larry wrote and wanted to publish a politically charged article that his superiors refused to publish and he went on ahead and submitted it to the BBC who published it. By him doing this he was effectively resigning himself from his position at the station. He joined the BBC-British Broadcasting Corporation as earlier mentioned where he is currently working at. Ciku Muiruri later on also got a job opening at the BBC and left the station too. Other journalists at the station also had differences with the management and they also quit, the likes of Linus Kaikai who joined the Royal Media Services among others. Ken Mijungu was on the verge of being jobless as he was also a part of this melee, but he ended up remaining at the station. Anyway, away from all this drama, Edith Kimani is also a Kellywood celebrity. She used to anchor news at KTN before being snapped up by German Media company DW, that is Deutsche Welle, as one of their correspondence for the continent of Africa.
