New Release "Alone" is one of the latest movies to be released in Kellywood.
The movie premiered 30th March 2019 at the Imax Anga Diamond.
Cast and Crew Ian Mbugua, Wakio Mzenge, Mwaura Bilal, Wanjiku Mburu, Muthoni Gitau, Mbeki Mwalimu, Mwikali Mary, Brian Shikhuyu, Clara Alitsi are part of the cast and crew who made "Alone" happen.
They are seen here on the red carpet premier of the movie.
The movie has been written by Shelly Gitonga and directed by Cajetan Boy.
Plot Line The plot of the movie revolves around a police officer named Eugene Njogu, played by Mwaura Bilal, who suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder and is bipolar.
Eugene is trying to earn his father's approval, his father is played by none other than Ian Mbugua.
His father however, wants him to quit the police or risk loosing his inheritance.
Themes The plot line addresses the themes of mental health, family, self discovery and hope.
