Well Done! Congratulations to Nyashinski who has been awarded the YouTube silver play button, which is an award given to YouTube channel holders with more than 100,000 subscribers.
Nyashinski has seen his popularity soar in recent times after making a comeback in the music industry.
He had taken some time off but it appears he has a loyal fanbase that was just lying in wait for his return.
Major Comeback He came back with a big bang, releasing the hit single "Mungu Pekee," which dominated the airwaves across the country and in Kellywood for a while.
We hope that Nyashinski goes on to get the other buttons which come after this one, which are the YouTube golden and diamond play buttons.
The YouTube golden play button is awarded when one gets 1 million suscribers and the diamond play button is awarded when one gets 10 million subscribers.
Other Winners Besides Nyashinski, there were four other individuals or groups that were awarded the silver play button namely Blessed Njugush, KTN News, Africha Entertainment and the Real Househelps of Kawangware.
Nyashinski, whose actual name is Nyamari Ongegu, was able to attend the event and accept his award in person.
The award winning artist is pictured here performing at the ten year anniversary of Blankets and Wine, where Sauti Sol were also a part of the performance.
This was after he had won the YouTube award.
