Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are in town y'all! The American celebrity power couple paid a visit to the west of Kellywood.

For those who do not know, the west of Kellywood is in Uganda and they we meeting with President Yoweri Museveni.

Mission of Visit
The couple who were on a private visit presented President Museveni with a pair of Yeezy sneakers.

Yeezy is a brand that is owned by Kanye West and which apparently is about to set him on the path to becoming a billionaire, much like his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner's brand has.

Kanye and Kim were on a private visit to the west of Kellywood to promote tourism and the arts.

Critics
They were criticized for visiting with a president who has been in office for more than 32 years and who has shown dictatorial tendencies in the past.

Opposition leaders in Uganda have been detained and tortured in the past, a recent example being Bobby Wine and Kizza Besigye before that.

As such, this does not paint the West family visit in the right light.

Other reason for visit
Kanye also shot some music videos during the visit. The couple have been blessed with four children, further growing the Kardashian Empire!
